I took a fairly long road trip with the Tesla (which will be the road trip car) and supercharging is pretty fast and the fact that it drives itself makes them much easier. Also, many hotels now have EV chargers so you start every morning with a charged car, which is great. Keep in mind that I'm driving with a dog and a toddler, so you need those stops anyway.
The Ford Mustang is replacing a Ford Explorer that was supposed to be the long range road trip car but we realized we were just taking the Tesla anyway, which made two big family haulers stupid. This will probably be my wife's commuting car.
Also, at home charging aside from road trips is far more convenient and EVs need way less maintenance.

By the way, took it on a road trip and it was fine, though the Tesla remains my road trip car. The lack of interior and trunk/frunk space is a bigger issue for road trips than the charging.

Like 11k miles. It is legit 180, tbh. Probably the best reasonably priced car you can get right now.
