Some proto-chads don't develop into chads until they're 16-17 -- too late to get into their natural clique during HS. Many of them then naturally fall into the right clique in college when they promptly get recruited into the good frats.

seems like a lot of people pull it off. also a lot of people organically outgrow awkward adolescence at this time. plus university is has a default clique sorting mechanism. it's possible someone was the biggest dork in HS and the coolest guy at MIT but nothing about him changed. |
