52, retired at 51, and I bring home $24,000 a month from all sources. Paid off my house last year and my kids are out of college. My fixed monthly expenses are $1,700 per month. I think I can afford to travel around the world if I wanted. Even while working, I never had this much disposable income.

if you really "bring home" 24k/mo obviously dont work any longer if your job sucks. im assuming youre divorced or something at this point? youre not spending 1700/mo with a wife.

you become accustomed to spending $20.000 pm in 2025. but when its 2050 that number would have to more than triple for you to live same means
