Hi Chaebong Hyuung!
I know this is hard for you to come to terms with, but asians like you *really* struggled with Covid due to their weaker, inferior genes.
A few - of many - examples:
Higher Mortality in Subgroups: A major 2020 study conducted within New York City’s public hospital system revealed that when the data was separated by ethnicity, Chinese Americans had the highest COVID-19 mortality rate of any racial or ethnic group tested, far surpassing White patients (WHYY).
Frontline Workplace Exposure: Other groups, such as Filipino Americans, bore a massive brunt of the physical toll due to their high representation in healthcare. For instance, data showed that nearly a third of all nurses who died of COVID-19 in the U.S. were Filipino, despite making up only 4% of the national nursing workforce (PMC11040541). The
South Asian Impact: In places like the United Kingdom, data from the Office for National Statistics (ONS) confirmed that South Asian individuals (specifically Pakistani and Bangladeshi groups) were among the hardest hit, experiencing significantly higher death rates than White ethnic groups (ONS, 2020). This was largely driven by a higher density of public-facing essential jobs (like transport and multi-generational housing structures) where physical distancing was incredibly difficult (ONS, 2020).
Cope & seethe, lil guy.
