I think the College Board should have gone with another measure of adversity.
What better evidence of adversity is there other than the demonstrated performance of a student on the SAT? Given that we can expect greater adversity to causally detract from a student's SAT score, that very score is itself a measure of adversity. The average SAT score is about 1060. The adversity score will be 1060 - X, where X is the student's SAT score. Someone who scores an 860 therefore would have a 200 point adversity score, whereas someone who scores a 1260 should have a -200 adversity score. The adversity score is of course separate from the actual SAT score - colleges will have the option of receiving a combined SAT and adversity score, or can view them separately. Test-takers, however, will only receive the combined score.

One of the great benefits to adopting this measure is the rapid improvement in school quality that will result. Once employers recognize that every college's graduates are as numerically qualified as Harvard's we will finally have a true meritocracy.
In addition, this measure is truly color-blind and would not run afoul of the Constitution.

because they know deep down that there are people who will insist that the more talented people deserve to have better lives even if the amount of talent people have turns out to have a substantial genetic component.
honestly as much as i hate shitlibs, i have an unsettling feeling that in the future the most powerful political enemies who come after them will be utterly lacking in anything resembling human empathy to the point that i will wish i was dealing with SJWs instead of them
