I only buy shitty used cars and drive them into the ground. No point in spending more money than necessary on a rapidly depreciating asset. Maybe I will buy a nicer car some day when I feel like I have maed it, but until then, I would rather save more money so that I can quit wagecucking sooner.

i think that's great. to have a healthy sex life like that.
4 years ago when she was diagnosed was a bad time. she is on medication and has been mostly stable for the last couple of years.
stage 4 means the cancer has spread from the original part to a different part of the body. this is considered incurable. but the doctors will try to elongate life as much as possible.

i'm very sorry to hear that, friend. i don't really pray but i will pray for you and her. i hope she isn't in too much discomfort.
my poasting during my substance abuse spiral is very well known here and i wronged my wife many times. we got back together in 2022 and i was kinda rocky at first, but it's very good now. we've been together since 2005 and in the last couple months it's all come back to me how in love we were when we first got togehter, and i feel like that again. plus she still looks about the same, which is cool.

$2k on wife’s left
$7k on mine
Then they’ll be paid off and I’ll need a new one and start the Hebrew cycle over again.

yes. about 35k
if you're you buy a new car and there's an incentive below market rate it's kinda stupid not to. even ordinary rates. if you can cop 6% and invest what you would have paid for it into the market earning a conservative avg 10-12% per annum, why wouldn't you?

I second the dude above about paying interest on a depreciating asset.
If you have cash to burn, sure, go for it.

everyone wants their assests to appreciate nigger, who the fuck wants them to go down? this doesn't explain why you would want to take a loan out for an appreciating versus depreciating.
your second paragraph is completely nonresponsive. of course it's a minor consideration for people buying cars within their means.
it doesn't fucking matter what you're borrowing money *for* for personal use. what matters is the terms of the loans. if i have $100k and am buying an appreciating asset for $50k and depreciating one for $50k, and i want to finance one so i have $50k to invest, then it doesn't matter which one i finance all things being equal. if anything, you'd prefer to finance the depreciating asset because the lenders secured interest is decreasing. if you ran into trouble you'd rather the bank have a lien on something that had decreased in value.
dumbfuck.
