Carried a woman with a broken leg down the side of a mountain today

Date: May 16th, 2024 8:59 PM Author: Stirring Stage I've been helping one of my former professors with a field class since his TA backed out. Today we were on the side of a mountain in Boulder. Before she broke her leg, we watched a paraglider crash into a fucking tree on the top of the mountain. I called 911, then went on with my day until about 20 minutes later a girl in the class, who had been complaining about how difficult it was to go downhill all day, slipped while going down an incline and broke her tibia. We were separated into groups, I was with all women so I sent one of the girls to run off to find the professor, I called 911, and fireman carried her ass almost down the entirety of the mountain. It wasn't that far, but the grade made it incredibly difficult.
I made it down about 2/3rds of the way when we encountered some park rangers that were looking for us. I stayed with them and sent the students to the van. Poor girl had been holding up alright until she started talking to the rangers, and she started bawling. Also I accidentally touched her tit. I said sorry and she said she didn't give a shit lol. |

He knew what had been going on with me and offered me a summer job. It's a two week long class, examining contacts in the Rockies. He's a good guy.
