obviously, reducing her sentence in return for her giving favorable testimony is completely contradictory to to goal of having her testify in the first place (to "exonerate" trump). the public will (correctly) assume that she's just lying or omitting information, and it will backfire and people will just think trump is guilty even more than they already did
bizarre. i don't know if these people are just really stupid, or what. the whole situation is embarrassing for everyone in the country. i'm pretty sure my junior high school class was more competent at machiavellian politics than this |
