that describes most rivers in the country that extend for 50+ miles... you have to drive into town to go to the bar, but basically that's what we already have

bro.t ehse bars would be RIGHT ON THE LAZY RIVER. you would just float up to the edge of the LR & the waiter would take you're order.

way too much chlorine required bro. and cleaning staff. and believe me if you commercialized it you'd need to clean the water.

I guess if enough concession places opened up you could take a cut from each one and subsidize the cleaning expenses but ...it would cost a lot.

main threat to this would be lawsuits from dipshits who got fucked up, fell off their tubes, inhaled water and almost died before the lifeguards did CPR on them. that's if these concession stands could even get liquor licenses in the first place.

what you COULD do is you could start building a river, one section at a time, and expand it slowly. concession stands wouldn't be able to sell alcohol though, way too much red tape...more like sodas/food/icees and shit. problem is you couldn't expand it too far because it will get less profitable per mile....people will get bored and get off, which is the main problem. Also, they'll fill up on food and drink during the first couple miles and then won't want as much for most of the trip. or they'll wait until the end and won't buy much at first. sure, people will still want drinks and stuff just saying generally....people would only eat once or twice. You'd have to subsidize it using merchandise vendors and shit, but that wouldn't be enough.

Sorry to take the wind out of your sails, brah. Seems like it would be awesome to have if you were rich but it's not profitable at all.
