When she was over Everquest 2, it devolved into a complete cash grab. Too many examples of gaming mechanics to list to prove this point, but it always started with the 'edition' of the expansion you purchased. If you didn't buy the most expensive edition, then you didn't get the baubles that made you strong enough to beat the endgame content. It was that simple.
If this is the first time that WoW has rolled out this kind of pricing model for power and access, I'm actually surprised, given how long she's been at Blizzard. |

Instead, we have a glorified gacha dress up game for women, minorities and paypigs, with a small echelon of high end 'esport' performance players.
A fundamentally disparate, siloed & incoherent MMO experience, a dead game draped in the skin of a classic IP made with passion by a soulful WHITE dev team. Just a trojan horse in a dead genre & passionless industry, on an inexorable trend towards dumb-terminal microtransacted DRM / GaaS (Gaming as a service) / cloud-streamed globohomo.
Playing worlo means, you are basically playing in a tron 3d space of some jews portfolio (an apt moniker for the U.S) perfectly encapsulating the decline of America, which is now a featureless deracinated wasteland glorified free trade zone filled with mutts and no soul. A pachinko RMT gacha cash shop mogs mounts cheevos lobby for NPC golem, women, minorities, thirdies & low IQs filled with clickfarm bots & gliders (they count as 'Monthly Active users' or 'MAUs' in the shareholder reports) to boost the earnings report numbers just like fake employment stats
The age of passion project, made for desktop PC, high/medieval fantasy MMORPG, developed by sane, level headed cultured white men is never coming back.
Too many jews, too many low IQ consumers, lowest common denominator gacha addicted lefty gynocentric terms of service tranny homo muttification. This is the shortest version fwiw

They even have a competent non-woke head developer on that (Josh Greenfield) after they axed the woke moron who was the old lead classic dev. But even the small wokeisms he left in WoW classic (most notably having "body type 1" and "body type 2" instead of male and female toons on the character screen) don't leave a large footprint in the game.
And Classic is available for the base game subscription- no expansion required. I haven't paid for an expansion since Warlords of Draenor- it's been all private servers and classic for me.
So the abomination in OP doesn't effect me directly, but it still shows where Blizzard is as a corporation now. |

The game is currently in free fall as players quit in droves & other players also feel a sense that they are missing out on something (FOMO) wrt the retail version compared to the old version after experiencing the experimental mode |

The most fun I've had in HC was when I was on Bloodsail Buccaneers playing the player-created hardcore mode using the addon and appeal process for dc deaths. That was 180. |
