back in 2018-2020 i started doing a lot of coke while i was a partner at BAKER AND HOSTETLER. one day in jan. 2020, i was working from home and started drinking and doing lines and the gc of a client called me to ask about something - that something was that the rainmaker whose client they were had missed a legal issue relating to a hotel sale and the guy was grilling me about it. i was absolutely frozen and just giving him one word answers. in retrospect he probably took it as an alpha move or something, who knows. |
