Samsung no longer makes the best RAM chips. That SSD will run hot compared to anything made by Western Digital or Sandisk right now, because Samsung's chip fabs are operated by IRL chimpanzees. Crucial/Micron is good too. Lexar SSDs with chink RAM look better than Samsung rn.
Teamgroup QC is shit and they use off-brand RAM chips. Flakiest, shittiest RAM I've ever used by far. Two DIMMS with the same part number will be made with different chips. Stick with a reputable brand like Crucial, Corsair or Kingston. G-Skill sucks almost as bad as Teamgroup.
Gigabyte makes a lot of shitty motherboards right now and the naming conventions are out of whack. I've had great luck with Asrock lately, and they're so cheap I don't care if one breaks.
You may as well get the 870e chipset if you're getting a 16 core CPU. Why get the extra cores but not the extra CPU lanes? I don't see a reason to go above 6 cores, honestly, but you've already decided to get 16. |
