America wasn't dependent on an aura which developed after the first Gulf War - built on Grenada and Panama, buttressed by Iraq War and Afghanistan - that if you pissed it off it could wipe you off the map in a matter of days with death rays and frogmen.
Trump is blowing that all up and the US is going to be diminished because of it.
