Interviewed 6 mos ago and was told I'm not at the case handling level they want. I could have prepped more for the interview and performed better. Would be a $50K increase. Now they posted the same job. Seems somewhat humiliating if I just re-applied and asked them to reconsider but the pay bump would be significant

At your level, you shouldn’t be applying to any jobs. If a law firm wants to bring you in let them take you to lunch and bring you in. If you’re completely desperate and need to leave find a headhunter I guess.

I would not be applying to jobs past 32 years old.
