I had previously heard about BLS being a predatory school regarding scholarships, but didn't know they were predatory PERIOD. Their curve is calculated in a way where there just won't be enough "passing" grades to go around. I was academically dismissed for being .02 points below the gpa required for good academic standing and I now have to start law school all over again. I have battled serious depression because of this. Imagine spending countless hours studying and preparing for exams, just to get academically dismissed for making Bs and Cs.......BLS's gpa for good academic standing is 2.5, and you might think "Oh well I know I'll get above that, I've always been a good student with great study habits." NO NO NO NO. That is NOT enough. Their curve is designed for them to take a certain number of students' money and give them the boot. ABSOLUTE FRAUDS. I graduated with a 3.7 gpa undergrad and ended my 1L year at BLS with a gpa .02 points below the 2.5 requirement. Majority of law schools have a 2.0 gpa requirement...because....the curve. Also, none of my work reflected that of someone who didnt know the law and how to apply it. I won awards from one of my professors as well for my work and that wasn't enough. None of my professors thought me to be someone who would ever be dismissed. This is the most predatory school on the planet. DO NOT GO TO BROOKLYN LAW!!!!!!!!! You will *absolutely* regret it!!!!
