His shtick is just to list various aspects of tech companies and describe their business model and then just state that it's bad.
Really, tech companies are buying tech from other tech companies? Holy shit. He just says this random stuff like oh it's for sure a bubble that's about to collapse without explaining how. Not one word about why it's bad or how it's going to fail. Nothing like oh well banks lended tons of money to subprime buyers who won't be able to repay when their rates go up and that will trigger...
No, no underlying explanation. Just assertions. This is 90 IQ shit. Baseless assertions.

I think his fundamental thesis is wrong, but he can be hilarious. I said it elsewhere, but he reminds me of early Milo Yiannopolous in his delivery and mannerisms. Can be truly laugh out loud funny.
Even if he is dead wrong in the grand scheme of things, he does make some interesting points from time to time. I think he just fundamentally doesn't understand what is really going on with AI and how it will absolutely become profitable in a world historic way.

He's not funny at all. That's what's funny about it. He's YSFFM and has zero Understanding.
Like yes the 5 world's largest companies are investing savage and insane amounts of money in one Idea that has the chance to change the entire world and everyone's way of life. Ed's big complaint is that he's betting heavily that it won't. 100% of the world's richest and smartest people are betting that it will.
If it does, all the valuations are more than justified. They're undervalued. If it doesn't the world economy is going to collapse. There's only one way to find out. If AI wins over time just like the internet and lots of previous major innovations like the printing press, the steam engine, and the automobile. Ed is saying that based on zero evidence AI is not a revolutionary technology. Meanwhile every passing day it unironically continues to prove that it is. Ed is getting mogged by reality.
