It's why the broccoli generation does nothing. You used to have to Figure Things Out. Now if the answer isn't Online you don't do it. You read the reviews and menu before going to the restaurant except that's literally everything. Novelty has been completely removed from real life. There is no Exploration or Discovery. Everything is already on Hand Computer.
Adolescents used to be fascinated by things. Marijuana, pussy, space, psychedelics, liberal arts, quantum physics, classic rock bands. You used to login to online and search for hours to find a new Band. You used to have to find a Connect to get a little weed. "I wonder what lsd is like," the youth would wonder, "have you heard of stan groff or leary?" "What if quantum physics proves free will, and planet earth is as alive as the animal life?" "What if we have the answers to capitalist corruption?"
