Date: December 16th, 2025 9:50 PM Author: Talking dysfunction cruise ship I got in trouble for filming my kids race, because they were doing 1 length of the pool - so they were diving in from the opposite end. Then after, i started hearing that they announce what sides of the pools you can film at with each event (apparently because they don't want people taking pics behind the kids before they start? but you can take a picture from the side?)
Then I tried to take my kid to the bathroom and someone flagged me down like a linebacker screaming that parents aren't allowed in the "athlete bathroom" (mind you we are not at the Beijing Olympics pool - its a run down community center). So I had to go take my kid to the spectator bathroom like 2 blocks away.
I get that they want to protect kids, but the hyperfixation to the point where there's an announcement every 2 minutes effectively of how not to "take pics of kids butts" seems like it will cause some issues downroad... |
