He has some ancillary businesses (budgeting tool, for instance) and he has to be making absolutely insane $$$ from his Audit videos. The length of them and the view count is off the charts. Massive ad revenue before anything else is taken into account.
YouTube channels that do personal finance generate much higher ad rates than basically anything else, even with lower viewership.
I don't love his personality and stopped watching after a few videos, but he hit on something fairly unique and seems to have the ability to build on the traction generated by the initial GTM concept. |
