If you think about it, engineering is a professional degree in undergrad. That's all you need to succeed.

If your goal is to make the most money with just a 4 year degree, this is relevant.

To me, it's not that relevant, because you need to compare salaries of occupations 10 years out and then it makes more sense to me.

Likewise, I'd assume actuaries make more money starting, but not "math majors". Basically, in this case you have a list of degrees that ARE the occupation.
