The schools were ranked based on the average of their 25th and 75th percentile LSAT scores plus 20 times the average of their reputation scores.

The scores were then normalized to 100 and ranked with the lowest score being 100 and the highest score being 0.

The first number is the school's rank. The second number is the normalized score. The numbers following the schools are the average of the 25th and 75th LSAT and the average reputation score.

Edit: The schools and information were taken from USNews' list of 3rd and 4th tier schools.

Regent is the worst law school in the country. Thurgood Marshall is Harvard compared to Regent. Only reason to go to Regent is if you are a fundie and want to spend your whole career in fundie non-profits. Job prospects are zero and nobody will ever respect you or think you are a real lawyer. At least the other schools get some respect.

My list is a list of bad law schools that still (could) lead to practicing law anywhere in the country. This is partly because information on the other schools is unavailable.

If you don't like my rankings, you're free to Leiter it up and make your own rankings.

i would think that not being able to practice anywhere in the country would be one of the things that seperates the worst from the rest.

again, your rankings do not rank the worst, just the worst that are easy to look up. if you want to start limiting which schools to include in the worst to schools that are better than the worst, then go ahead, but you should just accept the fact that your rankings are lazy and move on.

Why not look at bar passage rate as well? Even if an entering LSAT range was low, a bar passage rate could say something different about a particular school.

So, it is what matters in the end. Besides, the school's bar passage rate can be representive of the bar exams from several states.

Actually, TTT's are very representive of out of state bar exams. People end up there because they couldn't get in anywhere else which often includes your home state.

The bar passage rate for school is the pass rate where most take the bar. Vermont for example never seems to use VT bar. NY or Mass I think.

Wrong on all counts.

TTTs are more local. They more strongly tend to attract local students. They more strongly tend to keep students in the area.

And the bar exams vary widely.

If you disagree, in normalized terms relevant to the entire ranking, tell me what the bar passage rate at Texas Southern means relative to the par passage rates at Cooley and California Western.

I don't think the bar passage rates at Texas Southern and Cooley would necessarily be that different. But I see other schools on your list that have drastically different bar passage rates from Cooley or Texas Southern. If I am completely wrong, I will admit it, but I always thought the bar passage rate for the school reflected the bar passage rates of that particular school's students. I'm not sure what else you are saying it is.

I just disagree in general with saying that TTT's don't have a lot of out of state students.

And somehow 99% of the people at these schools find more intelligent uses for their time than the OP.

Bump. Lulz. I am laughing at these horrible schools 1) because they are horrible and 2) because I don't feel good about myself. That is why everyone on this board cares about TTTs. If we were normal, we wouldn't really care.

Appropriate that this guy is ranking TTTs, because that's truly a TTT methodology he used. I could think of about ten different and superior and far more representative ways to do this, but I have a life and don't give a shit.

Most likely created by some insecure T40 level douche who got a B in stats and totally thought he pwn3d the lsat with a smoking 161.

The OP was among the smartest posters we had for several years.

In any event, why are you defending those TTTs? You went to one, didn't you?

P.S. LOL @ your taking all this way too seriously.

There are actually law schools that will take you with a sub-150 LSAT? I wonder if they issue drool bibs at orientation?

How was Fordham left off of this list?

It must have been a better school four years ago.
