Seriously. And It would be much more baller. I wonder if I can convince the family. We could just keep our place in SF and rent it out and cover our costs, so it wouldn't be like we were totally out of SF real estate if this was a horrible mistake.

Same thinking. Was thinking about how as I'm getting older I'm getting more picky about crap like hotel beds, having food I like and being able to easily bring my dog. The thought of being able to spend several months boating the Caribbean and Latin America suddenly became very attractive.

yeah, the boat above would literally cost like $150 an hour in gas to go at full speed, so it isn't a good option, but a nice 60 foot motor sailer could surely work.
