Attended 1st NFL Game of My Life Today. It Was a Miserable TTT Experience

baseball is 180 in person, and i love HS football in person. i've been to a few major CFB games (and a bunch of my ttt ivy's games), and CFB isn't as good as baseball in person but there's an atmosphere there.
the nfl, otoh, is a miserable sack of shit intended for GC-scammed proles. it's like disneyland does sports.
the nfl fans are infinitely more prole than CFB fans. they're absolute trash, and i literally feel bad for them that they're wasting so much money on this scam.
i don't know how people complain that a baseball game is boring in person, but there's literally nothing to do at an nfl game. the tv timeouts are fucking insane, and if you watch at home you dont realize how bad it is because you're poasting the whole time during the commercial breaks. but at a live game, it really makes you realize what a fucking disaster this is.
having only watched the nfl on tv, i didn't even realize that the players literally stand there on the field basically lined up at scrimmage for 4 minutes during a tv time out while they wait for the ref to give the okay to resume play. on tv, you just see them come back from a tv timeout all lined up to play. you dont realize these fuckers are literally standing around for 4 minutes doing absolutely nothing while you're shoved GC propaganda down your throat at 140 decibels.
i see literally nothing redeeming about seeing an nfl game in person. |
