It's one thing for the administration to toss reporters a bone about something off record, but if that 25 page list of lulz was in fact an intelligence briefing from the CIA and others to go to the President and President Elect, isn't it fucked up that copies of the brief were sent by someone to fucking buzzfeed of all places? Assuming the Russians did not hack the CIA and give the report to Buzzfeed - doesn't that suggest that either some congressional staffer needs to go to prison, or the CIA is wholly in the bag and untrustworthy - at which point who the fuck knows about the content of the brief?

The buzz feed posted thing is some unsouppperted crap allegedly put together by some fm mi6 agent. But it was clearly based on opposition research crwater by GOP and Dems. Basically it's unsubstantiated crap that got telephone gamed into an intelligence report.
And this report was being passed around backchannels. McCain forwarded it to the FBI. But a lot of people had it, including likely many journalists.
The CIA briefed trump about it to warn him that this bs was being circulated. They didn't believe it was accurate. However some shitlib or Mormon at the CIA leaked the meeting. Which allowed CNN to have cover to run a story about it.
