1. Get in and get scholarship $$$ and be in-state
2. Start immediately clerking when you can with a state agency so you have something lined up regardless
3. You should easily get LR + clerkship options
4. Gun for the NLJ250 firms in the state. Places that might pay 120K to start. They won't fire you and you'll have a substantial shot at being partner.
5. You can often clerk during school @ the places listed on step #4 and make $$$ and also get a head start building relationships.
You can leave these places with little debt, a good resume, and a 6-figure job. And there are easily 10-15 public schools like this (UGA, UNC, Wisconsin, etc) |
