Booked a flight to Paris on what I thought was British Airways, it ended up being a code share and the actual operator is American. I'm flying from a major east coast city to Paris in a fucking Boeing 757. Isn't that what Southwest uses to fly from places like Arizona to Salt Lake City? Thought I would get a Boeing 787 or at least a 777. My flight was only $500 round-trip so I suppose it comes with the territory. I always looked forward to international travel with the cute air hostess, better food and nicer service.

Southwest flies exclusively 737s. Be happy that you are on a codeshare flight. BA is experiencing crippling outages right now.

Air travel is total humiliation 100% of the time. That you can find some good in it is pathetic.

$500, though. Besides, I have a feeling you bros travel enough that you can sleep even in coach. Obviously it's not ideal, but the marginal difference between fully lie-flat and flat-but-angled isn't huge on a 7-hour flight, especially if it's during the day.
