no, they were never 180.
people need to understand: liberalism is never static. it's called 'progressivism' for a reason. it is always moving in the direction of something, *progressing* toward something -- something far worse than what it is today.
so , even in FDR, you had the seeds of all liberal excess that flowers today and tomorrow, tranny 6 y/o's, open-border white genocide, etc.
conservatism (conserving) is the only way to arrest this process.
