It’s kind of a stupid hypo for that reason. The modern Marine Corps could probably defend the homeland alone in that scenario but logistically there’s just no way to move them around and keep them supplied without the Navy. |

they're fighting the USMC at 2018 strength sans nukes. in *that* scenario, 2018 Marines with their (as compared to TTT ruskie/jap) incomprehensible force projection, sea power, air power, penetrators, and air superiority fighters, would literally firebomb any city they felt like with total impunity, while obliterating any hostile seacraft or aircraft before it got within 500 miles of US coastline.
sure, 250,000 marines might not be capable of occupying and holding all of germany, russia, and japan simultaneously, but their airpower/firepower could make vast swaths of enemy territory un-defendable and area denial weapons would make equally large chunks uninhabitable. it's always going to be hard for a foreign expeditionary force to completely occupy a distant land, but marines could easily do targeted decapitation strikes dropping enough manpower and heavy artillery with pinpoint accuracy to fell any adversary's capitol. after that it's just a matter of using air superiority to form a perimeter around moscow or tokyo, and mow down all forces turning around and slouching towards the former seat of power like lambs to slaughter. at that point psychological demoralization, fatigue, and unthinkable troop losses on a daily basis ensure that even non-US fags fight to some sort of "stalemate" the reality is that europe and asia will never recover.
TL;DR Jap Kikes, Kraut Kikes and Commie Kikes would stand zero chance of "defeating" the US and our boys would disembowel fifteen of them for every man we lost.

But they'd have the same problem that the Wehrmacht had against the Subhuman slav soviets, you take too much territory and supply lines get long, and they start picking you off. Their ~200 F18's can only fly so many sorties--even if you have gave them unlimited payloads. If they only have the bombs they already have, no fucking chance.
They might be able to beat the Germans in France if the Germans tried to fight a big battle. But if the Germans just decided to dig into Paris, they could turn it into a Stalingrad like battle. Marines going street to street would fare little better than WWII units.
Same goes for battles like Iwo Jima. Our bombing would be more precise, but having to take the island yard by yard would have similar causalities.
It took 25k marines to clear 3,000 insurgents in Fallujah (fucking arabs--aka worst soldiers in the world). And they had ~700 causalities.
Germans, Soviets and Japanese could turn every midsized city in Europe into Fallujah X 10. |

We would drop a couple JDAMs on the Imperial Palace this very evening, flying out of Okinawa, and they would never know what hit them. After all, an entire fucking MEF materializing on an island within Japanese territory is a pretty fucking awesome element of surprise.
Germany would fall shortly afterwards. Jet fighters would crush the Luftwaffe; Germany's then-experimental first-generation Me-262 is laughable in comparison. Once Hitler caught wind of super-fast jet fighters running circles around his best tactical advantage, he'd swallow his cyanide pill and be done with it. We'd have to use commercial freight to get us to the UK without the Navy, but from there it's easily doable.
The USSR is a little trickier. I'd recommend we do a long-range insertion by Osprey around the Winter Palace and hold Stalin under siege with tanks and infantry (defensive fires provided by a couple arty batteries) until he agrees to a ceasefire where we pull all U.S. Marines out of eastern europe.

they obviously can't take large swaths of territory, but can presumably defend strategic airbases with modern radar, artillery, tanks, drones, anti-aircraft weaponry. From these bases they can launch ceaseless air attacks.
marine aircraft should be invulnerable.
