That said, they really seem to be trying to make Elizabeth into an unsympathetic character. She’s obviously brainwashed against Americans. She treats her daughter like a government asset. She treats her husband like shit. She doesn’t seem to even want peace or prosperity for her own country despite knowing that people have it a lot better in the us.
They must be getting ready to have Philip kill her in the finale. |

I'm guessing either Paige or Henry or both die and Philip and Elizabeth are left to ponder the collateral damage up close. Part of me thinks Stan will likely get got by his workout girl too.
The funny thing about the show is that we sympathize with Philip even though he has probably ruined/ended just as many innocent lives as Elizabeth. In some ways he is worse than Elizabeth since he fully comprehends the gravity and evil of his actions. Elizabeth, on the other hand, is just a soldier in enemy territory. America is no different than Nazi Germany in her eyes. |
