you need to lift heavy 5-7 days a week, don't worry about overtraining, you won't overtrain, also get really good at pull-ups and weighted pull-ups; and since you're a fatmo heavy weighted carries are your new best friend, find something heavy, lift it overhead or carry it on your side, walk
day A: squat, bench press (do incline if you dont have someone who can teach you the form); overhead press; push-ups
Day B: Deadlift, pull-ups (alternate between pull-ups, chin-ups, and hammer-grip), bicep curls (you dont need them but you're going to do them whether i tell you to or not so im putting them here), heavy carries, incorporate power cleans once you're pulling 225
also NEVER go to failure, always leave a rep in the tank
eat rice, potatoes, lean protein; avoid fat and limit the shit
no alcohol or coffee
30 minutes of LOW intensity cardio minimum

2) you need carbs to train seriously; I deadlift over 600, front squat 405, and do heavy pull-ups, and just posted legit numbers in a push/pull meet
3) longest lived populations eat minimum 60% of carbs in their diet
4) every strong successful population ate a starch based diet, anytime people advocate that a population eats an all animal diet it is always a fringe population on the outer bounds of what humans can survive, and they generally are in poor health (eskimos have a low life expectancy and are on the outer bounds of where humans can survive)
I don't advocate "carbs" as much as starches; rice, potatoes, and oats should be the bulk of what you eat, some lean protein if you train, trace fats
