Date: August 18th, 2018 11:30 PM Author: Adulterous fantasy-prone native water buffalo it wasn't even anything that made it "bad." it was just some of the most mediocre, boring pap i can imagine. that is to say, it was about as expected for a superhero flick. wonder woman had a few humanizing moments; some unexpected levity. spiderman, same thing. both also had conflicts that were somewhat interesting.
the wakanda conflict literally started, and was resolved, in the last 1/3rd of the movie. the setup to it was close to content-free. |

Black Panther was good. It looks great. The action sequences are some of the few that actually have stakes in comic book movies. Michael B Jordan is a villain who actually has a coherent motive. |
