He first asks the usual, why did you leave your job? What didn't you like about your job, what are your weaknesses?
Then after i answer all his questions, he pauses, looks at my resume, then breathes in and says, look " i will be brutally honest, when i first saw your resume it was a big red flag for me... i mean all this job hopping... i guess that's why you haven't gotten a call back from the jobs you have applied. When recruiter gave me your resume, i was going to toss it away but now i see that your answers make sense (for job hopping).
Then he asks me to explain how i closed a deal at my previous job. While i told him how it happened, he smiled and said ' well i am glad you have had that experience, since what you did is transferable to to things you will do here."
he then said that they will call back on Monday or Tuesday with decision. |
