Dallas.

Austin is full of fags and shitlibbery.

Houston has higher crime, the worst humidity I've ever experienced, and LA-esque traffic.

Dallas has relatively low COL, virtually all of the opportunities afforded by Houston, better schools (especially in suburbs - Plano West is a great example), and the suburbs are 180.

What makes a suburb 180?

Better strip malls, more well run chain restaurants?

Less traffic and virtually all of the things you can get in the city. Also, some of the suburbs like Frisco and McKinney are more rural and you can get some land if you want.

"Dallas has relatively low COL, virtually all of the opportunities afforded by Houston,"

This isn't anywhere close to true. Dallas is a nicer/cleaner city but it doesn't have the oil/gas or finance jobs.

You're right, I entirely forgot about that. I was mainly thinking of opportunities for kids.

Hill Country actually has some nature and lakes and is a much more fun place to live. You can take your kid hiking or boating as they get older. People in Austin are less pretentious in my experience and the city doesn’t have the “diversity” issues of Houston or Dallas. People will say, but what about all the faggy shitlibs? But you are not going to interact with the purple-haired shitlibs in Cedar Park or the Arboretum.

Houston’s climate is insanely bad and it is packed with nigs and undesirable minorities. Parts of it have a legit third-world vibe. The Woodlands wouldn’t be a bad place to raise a family though.

Houston has the most normal people. Dallas is full of kill your self suburbs (Plano, McKinney) and Austin is liberal, hypercongested and horribly managed. My enclave community of West U was named #1 City in America by USA Today (today)
