Houston has higher crime, the worst humidity I've ever experienced, and LA-esque traffic.
Dallas has relatively low COL, virtually all of the opportunities afforded by Houston, better schools (especially in suburbs - Plano West is a great example), and the suburbs are 180. |

This isn't anywhere close to true. Dallas is a nicer/cleaner city but it doesn't have the oil/gas or finance jobs. |
