After Prometheus I was so excited for Alien Covenant

Killed all the engineers, which was one of the most interesting things about prometheus. You don't learn about the easter eggs and cliffhangers put into prometheus about engineers. Instead you have a bunch of 89 iq folks riding a bus in space and making extremely dumb decisions in a way that borders on the comical. And then the ending is a "twist" but extremely predictable and obvious to anyone who hadn't walked out.
Quality of directing, etc was obviously good. Beginning was decent but got dumb 1/4 of the way through and til the end. Oh well rant over |
