East St. Louis is one of the most notorious, crime-ridden ghettos in America.

East St. Louis is a slum, and it�s falling apart. It was once a large industrial suburb, but today much of it is abandoned and falling apart. The 40,000 people who still live here are terrorized by roving gangs.
