FYI - when I stayed there I drove to Castle Rock and some other state parks and it took quite a while. Yes, you can live in Saratoga and be ok if you have the money and willing to commute. But even that isn't better than what I have now (or a bunch of other people in the area have). |

Driving just a bit further drive gets you to the Santa Cruz beaches and trails, or parks near skyline/the peninsula etc. Plenty of 180 shit close enough for a weekend drive |
