I know of one situation like this first hand...it didn't involve racism or sexism or anything like that, but pretty heated and locally publicized online outrage regarding local gossip. "Local mom in trouble after Facebook comments about daughters school go viral"....that sort of thing. But anyways the person got fired and then rehired as an independent contractor. I think stuff like that happens a lot, but idk. |
