This show from 7-14-19 is now the second highest rated Phish show of all time.

i have not. how good is it? i don't really have the stomach for 30+ min spacey phish jams TBH unless they are chill and funky like Ghost or something.

The Ruby Waves jam is 180. Its got funk, reggae, metal, everything. The transition from one key to another is super smooth. For me, I think the highlight is the reggae/metal transition around minute #20. They were really locked in that night.
They also close out the show by starting off with YEM>Catapult which was definitely planned because when Mike sings, "There isn't going to be a wedding," Trey interrupts and goes, "Actually, Mike, there *is* going to be a wedding," and tells a story about how he met a couple in the hotel lobby the day before. The woman has been waiting for her boyfriend to ask her to marry him, but the boyfriend told Trey he would only marry her if Phish played Contact on Sunday night.
So they then play Contact and as soon as Contact ends then segue right back into YEM to close out the set.

Usually Phish starts off a tour sloppy, but on this summer tour they opened up in complete sync and they've been on fire every show.
I'm going to see them at Dick's for Labor Day, the last two of three shows to close out the summer. Was trying to get my pregnant black wife to agree to go to all three, but she isn't budging.
I'll be so pissed if they play Antelope on night one which they probably will.
