Get pre-check, get a card or status that lets you check bags, stroll up to the gate whenever you want, sit down, order a couple drinks, fall asleep. I've had zero issues other than weather-related cancellations, which are annoying but admittedly not the airline's fault. I'd rather spend a couple hours in SeaTac than fly through a tornado.
Airport construction is a huge pain in the ass (looking at you, CLT), but that's also not really the airline's fault. |

I don't mind the Southwest planes, I just hate having to line up. |

You had to hold your hands above your head as they shot you with god knows what radition. Then you would get on the plane and they would make you turn off anything with a switch for the first 30 and last 30 minutes of the flight - so you had to flip through the fuckign Skymall until it was "safe" to turn on your kindle.
Now you walk through security in 5 minutes. When you get on the plane they have touch screens with satellite TV so you can watch football, and if sports aren't on, you can watch any HBO movie or TV Show. |
