I do track workouts with former CFB/D1 and NFL WRs and DBs, could easily tackle one assuming a reasonable space. e.g. if it's 1:1 like a kick return setting probably not. If it's 1:1 with say a 10 yard wide confined boundary like tackling drills are typically done, probably yes. |

In an all-star game practice, I went head to head with a future pro TE. I fearlessly went right at him after he caught the ball on a wheel route. Yes, in theory I made the tackle, but it was a brutal humiliation that I will never forget. Another linebacker actually stood over me and did the Smokey "you got knocked the fuck out" routine on me as I laid there in pain. |
