One could invest in stocks that have major upside, market cap under $10 billion, and went public within the past 2-3 years. Examples: Shopify, Twilio, Okta, etc.

THIS IS NOT INVESTMENT ADVICE

Shopify is trading 20x revenue with no ability to profit in sight. Why does this have more upside than any other tech co?

It's trading at 20x revenue because of where the ecommerce market is going. The global ecommerce market will reach something like $10-11 trillion by 2030, and due to Shopify, brands can now easily sell direct instead of having to rely on Amazon or whatever.

So investors are basically betting that Shopify will eventually rival Amazon in terms of overall volume of ecommerce sales worldwide, and even if Shopify can do 1/5 of what Amazon has done, buying shares at $325 now will look like a steal in 10-15 years when the company has a market cap of $250+ billion.

Michael Burry has been known to get consistent market returns of about ~20% per annum. Go talk to him.

Easy. Buy 10% yielding mREITs and BDCs on margin.

$1 million cash + $1 million margin loan (interactive brokers has rates at 1% now) = $2 million

$2 million in 10% yielding assets gets you 200k.

Of course, every few years the market will crash
