Are kindle paperweights easier on the eyes than using an iPad?

It is much better for reading an ebook than an ipad
that said, after having used the kindle since the gen 2 I've moved back to paper for most of my reading, especially if it is anything complex where I might want to flip back from time to time to look at a map or remind myself who a character is, etc - where the kindle really shines are airport paperback fiction - stuff that is pretty brainless so you're going to plow through it quickly and its nice not to have the clutter when you're done
