400 Blows should be on any best endings list. Before Sunset as well and probably Sunset Blvd.

Aguirre the Wrath of God is maybe my personal favorite.

the movies that you guys mention that have good endings that are not on my list are those i havent seen. im sure they have great endings. and yes, the godfather has a good ending, i just forgot about it.
