You can walk to south beach, launch your boat from Purdy Ave, walk to the grocery, be at a dive bar or fancy restaurant in minutes on foot, and be surrounded by elite pussy. If youre a family man, the public schools on the beach arent even terrible. South Pointe elementary is a 9/10 and so is north beach, I believe. Middle schools do get dicey as bussing begins.
The joggers do invade, but if you stay away from Ocean drive on weekend nights or Collins on any night, you wont see them apart from their scooters jetting around during season.
Traffic to downtown offices is like 10 minutes.
If youre going whole-hog on moving to FL, better to do it among spicy Venezuelans and Cubans than the trash outside of Orlando. |
