You have to presume that if the creators of the craft are good enough to design them to be immediately supersonic, etc., they’re also smart enough to know this would freak us out and generate interest. They could obviously fly disguised by only behaving like conventional craft.
Iow, they either don’t care that we notice or want us to notice
The first is more ominous for its arrogance. A culture so advanced it’s entirely unconcerned with our defenses.

What we experience as “UFO” might be a total byproduct—think of a fish suddenly encountering a wake caused by a boat on the other side of a lake.

So if the US or some other country is in possession of a UFO that they can operate, they also own a doomsday device
This is very obvious to me and something that comes to mind immediately when thinking of UFOs, but having read a lot on UFOs etc, I've never heard this mentioned before |
