I was curious to see what he's been up to and it seems like he's fully pivoted to self-help/motivational speaking and grifting. Truly unfunny without MDE.

he doesn't do those anymore unfortunately.

admittedly it was bizarre to be hearing SAM HYDE in those first few videos give unironic advice on how to spend more money to save time, how to waste less time, advice for "creatives" (mainly: grind your dick into the dust learning skills), and some above-average crypto advice. but in fact much of it is contrarian, interesting, and true, and he seems to have succeeded financially with it. he also shared a lot of behind-the-scenes stories about his time at adult swim.

a lot of the newer stuff seems to be him hanging out with loser townies from rhode island. i've skipped all of those

the newer "PGL" episodes where he's hanging out with nick rochefort are entertaining but way too long. i feel like i'm wasting my life listening to any 2+ hour podcast. but to be fair, i'm mentally insane and feel that way about any pleasant activity that lasts too long.

in short, the early business/creative stories were interesting and useful, and i never watch the new content, but i stay subscribed because i am a paypig. good luck
