because it's true and based like christianity to christians (not flame). i think that barbaric cosmetic procedures like e.g. female phalloplasty, male vaginoplasty, mastectomies and orchidectomies should be unprofessional conduct to perform, but people have a right to whatever kind of (healthy) endocrine system they prefer. this applies to trenmaxxers for example. (normal cosmetic surgeries like facial feminization etc should be fine too).

many trannies u talk to about gender will say something similar: most have fun and exciting genders or whatever, but in the end it just makes sense to be male/female |

it's a mixed blessing. kids were probably a lot easier to groom into weird things when being a tranny was 'under the radar' and you had to rely on insane ex-crossdressers online for advice onto how to inject everclear into your balls. but now there's 105 iq midwit takes on gender that everyone has to toe the line on as a matter of moral integrity. veddy veddy bad for transgenders, who arguably were on the cusp of being culturally neutral like gays were.
but then again, if trannies/gays weren't stomped on by Rs all the time, they'd end up being annoying chuds. the libertarian/right wing trannies i knew have mostly disappeared now. nothing like bioleninism to keep the left wing strong

no clue as far as statistics are concerned. my criterion has always been whether the person in question wants the hormone levels of the opposite sex. past that, it's a 'know em when i see em' thing a lot of the time. dangerbeards, fetish freaks, self-harmers are all prevalent, but i think most of them go off hormones if they ever were on them.

the last time i went into a male restroom the guy stepped back out, looked at the sign, looked at me, look back in the sign, then sheepishly walked in (i pissed in the urinal right after just to fuck with him). the last time my wife tried to go into a male restroom a giant italian man stood in her path, shook his head, and pointed at the female restroom.
anyway, part of the problem with legislating gender is, as you mentioned, sussing out fakers and giant beard guys. if you are going to do it, i think it should be as simple as the gender on ur ID, which should be easily changed. i got my id changed back when they required medical documentation and i didn't have a problem w it, but even just changing ur id without any documentation says a lot about how sincere you are about your gender identification.
legislating based on 'discomfort' is also stupid. next we'll start banning JACKED males from using male restrooms because they frighten the soys. mandatory diaper use for high muscle mass males. minus the faker issue this is essentially just a retread of whether we should have colored restrooms to avoid frightening the white ladies

1) of course there should be laws on based on "making people uncomfortable." otherwise why not just display giant flopping cocks or gore in times square? the purpose of law is to enable a civilized society, which does include stopping people from doing antisocial things or doing things that make the majority feel odd. that doesn't necessarily mean this leads to extremes (e.g. your example of banning anything that makes people uncomfortable).
2) put yourself if a girl who has dedicated her life to Sports. do you know how much effort it takes to become an elite athlete? it's a lot. and then some dude in a dress comes and steals their valor. that's not fair.
as far as "a girl once beat me in arm wrestling once", no shit. it's not that EVERY girl is inferior to EVERY guy at Sport. I couldn't run a fucking marathon right now and i'm in good shape. and i bet an elite female heavyweight mma fighter could kick my ass. but when we're comparing elite athletes versus elite athletes, there is just no contest.
female bench press record is 605lbs. male bench press record is 1,320 lbs. you really think that's because the dude trained that much harder? it's just a biological fact the men (in the aggregate, and especially at top levels) will outcompete women in most sports. |

It happens with cancer patients. It can happen with trannies.
What’s unethical is widespread prescribing of these medications to children which may have great unknown negative medical effects without any proof of efficacy. They should only be offered in an experimental setting until safety and efficacy is established.
