i've decided to taper over a few days then quit completely. starting today. it's been 3 hours since i last vaped. i haven't gone this long without vaping in.. months.

Stop buying vapes/juice.
It's a physical habit as well.
Replace with Zyn and sour candies. Sour very temporarily resets your brains reward triggers. Use the lowest nicotine zyn. Most nicotine cravings are triggered around 30 mins. Push it to an hour. When you're ready to snap pop a zyn for 10 mins. Don't leave it in longer than 30, try for less than 10.
Keep extending the time little by little b/w zyns.
Never been a vaper, but for smoking the hardest one for me was the morning smoke. Instead, i try to take my dog out as early as possible when i wake up so im not even tempted to smoke. Then, instead of having a smoke, take a shower. Then make yourself breakfast instead of having a smoke. The first smoke of the day and it's downhill from there, your brain will go MOAR. So push that initial smoke as late as possible until you're not patting your pocket and 10am, then lunch, then after lunch, then after you get home from work, then after dinner. I started with no smoking during dog walks (and took longer walks) and went from there.
2nd hardest is the smoke before bed. Try to have your last around 10pm then that's it. Getting a craving? stretch and go to bed.
Withdrawals will suck. There's no way through it without feeling uncomfortable. Get used to it. It goes away. And then eventually you wont have that push on your back to smoke.
Easiest way to cut it out is to take a trip with no nicotine. Usually the travel day youre stimulated by other things, like a pre-flight bloody marry. when you're there, your brain is distracted by all the new shit so your less likely to focus on nicotine, or if you do it's easier to redirect your focus on the 16th century church or the grand canyon or wherever the fuck you are. Trick then is to not start back up when you're back.

stopped buying it
was hard as fuck the first week, hard the first month, still hard like 6 months later but then i just forgot all about it one day and never drink
ill have a drink on special occasions and thats it, really love my life without alcoholism

started tapering yesterday afternoon, vaping only once every 3-4 hours. going cold turkey now to get over this shit. literally bought a TIMED LOCK BOX, put all my vape shit in there, and set it for 24 hours after my last vape to see if i can make it to 24 hours: https://ibb.co/L5502v2

Vaping is hard to quit. The nicotine salts hitting your lungs gives you a lot of nicotine really fast
I used lozenges. You just have a lozenge in all the time. The first couple of weeks are tough but you just get addicted to the lozenges after awhile which is a lot more manageable and better for you.
