One day, you notice a group of people wearing masks who see you and start shouting the vilest things about you, personal things and all sorts of defamation. You move to stop them, but they are surrounded by some sort of force field. You ask the police to move them, but the police can do nothing because of the force field. Meanwhile they continue to defame and embarrass you, calling you a pedophile and a freak and all sorts of infuriating falsehoods, in front of all your friends and anyone else you happen to be with.

In exasperation, you file a lawsuit for defamation, but that goes nowhere because the process server can’t penetrate through the force field and the masks prevent a proper naming of defendants anyhow. They continue to call you the nastiest names at length, always audible to anyone who is nearby. One or two of them have computers inside their collective force field, and they occasionally send you insane emails. The group threatens your family, you, all of that. They don’t stop even after years.

When you leave the plaza, you can still hear them defaming you.

You don’t go down the plaza for awhile, but you hear second reports about weird shit involving you. Do you just never go down to that plaza again? Serious question.
