If that’s true, and assuming you are unjustifiably being targeted, simply check into a cash-based monthly rental, purchase an unregistered nondescript clunker, and do not go anywhere that you have visited on a recurring basis.
Once your physical security is provided for, research, track, and pursue your enemies so that you control the time, place, and manner of any confrontation.
Don’t wait around to become the next shortporch

this doesn't work any more. cameras on cop cars instantly detect cars without registration, and cops will pull you over.
anyway, pretty sure the op is ricky, who is a histrionic jewish queer.

Probably a fair observation in a major metro area with a well funded PD. But I’ve got an old beater pickup on our family farm that hasn’t passed inspection or been registered in 20 years. A few times every year it ends up on public roads to run an errand or get loaned out to someone. Never had a problem.
If you were in a metro area, a better short-term play would be to find an abandoned or disused vehicle that matches the body style and color of your beater car and just steal its plate.
EDIT TO ADD: I suppose in a proper city it would be even easier to vanish and you’d just need a bicycle, a bus pass, and/or a train pass. Still might be worth renting, as needed, a plain white conversion van for cash from a cheap moving company.
